New York-based cardiologist Dr Samin K Sharma is setting
up their debut hospital project in the pink city

Promoters: Dr Samin K Sharma and his wife Manju Sharma.
Dr Samin K Sharma is Director of Interventional Cardiology at Mount Skyline
Hospital, New York. He shuttles between Jaipur and New York.
Other hospitals of the group: The group runs the cardiology
unit of SK Soni Hospital, Jaipur.
Total number of beds: 150 beds.
Number of beds to be commissioned in first phase:
150 beds.
Budget (inclusive of cost of land, construction and equipment):
Rs 60 crore.
Type of investment: Equity and bank borrowings.

Heart Hospital, "We have taken subsidised land from Government of Rajasthan.
The hospital has to offer 10 per cent beds for BPL patients."

Environment-friendly measures: Waste disposable management,
effluent treatment plant, energy saving devices and heat resistance glasses.
Reason for choosing that Jaipur: No super-speciality
heart hospital in this area.
Vision and mission: To create a centre, which offers
highest international standards of heart care in an economically feasible method
to patients all over India, neighbouring countries and other parts of the world,
along with providing emergence care to the people of pink city."
USP of the project: "Dr Samin K Sharma who is
internationally renowned cardiologist, renowned for doing complicated cases
refused by others," says his wife.
About technology that is latest in the area: Rotablator,
which is used in a type of catheter-based procedure called rotational atherectomy.
Number of clinicians and non-clinicians to be hired:
Number of clinicians would be 50 and non-clinicians would be 125 persons.
Ways to market it: Net working of hospitals, Government
and PSUs and insurance companies.
Future plans: To create such type of hospital in different
parts of the country.
